I want to thank everyone on the Board of Realtors for sponsoring and funding scholarships at Missouri State University. I was both surprised and honored to be the recipient of the Greater Springfield Board of Realtors Career Development Scholarship.

Two years ago I started at Missouri State University not knowing what career path I would choose. After exploring several options I started to get more interested in the family business. My parents and their parents have invested in real estate, and I started to pay attention. They were eager to teach me what they know about investing, and Missouri State has helped to build on my acquired knowledge.

I am on schedule to graduate from Missouri State University in May 2010 with my bachelor’s degree in Finance with emphasis in Real Estate. I look forward to developing my real estate career and investing in real estate; and I appreciate your confidence in me and willingness to contribute to my future education.

I have recently passed my Real Estate Pre-Salesperson class and passed the Missouri license exam. I hope to contribute to the Springfield community and help to further my understanding of the real estate market by being actively involved in the sales and promotion of real estate.

As anyone attending college knows, the cost of fees, books and tuition can be extensive. This scholarship I received from the Greater Springfield Board of Realtors is essential for helping me to continue my education and develop my future.

Once again, I want to thank the Greater Springfield Board of Realtors for their generosity for funding this scholarship, which has provided support and encouragement for my education.

I hope to highly represent the Board of Realtors by adhering to the values and goals that has made this organization highly respected and admired.

With sincere thanks,
